It all began in January 2017 when the first Trading Post Coffee Roasters opened on Ship Street, Brighton. We revealed an open-view coffee roastery, coffee bar, and eatery, which quickly became a local favourite. Soon followed Kensington Gardens, Brighton, where both locals and visitors to Brighton's iconic North Laine have been enjoying the exceptional coffee experience and delicious brunch menu we offer, and then not long after that, we branched outward to the neighbouring town of Lewes to open another open-view roastery on the cobbled, quaint Cliffe High Street.
Fast forward to 2024, and we've opened a further seven coffee houses across Sussex — taking us to 10 coffee houses across the South Coast — we're proudly supplying beans to hundreds of businesses across the UK, and moved our main roasting operations to the outskirts of Brighton in our dedicated roastery where our signature blends, single origin and seasonal blends are roasted fresh every day by our experienced team of coffee roasters.
Our new Roastery is now home to our training hub, where we offer full barista training for our wholesale customers – a testament to our dedication to sharing our passion for coffee with the wider community.

We serve up our delicious signature blends & single-origin speciality coffees across our own coffee houses, through our wholesale partners and for you to brew at home.
You'll find Trading Post being served in some of the UK's most loved attractions, educational institutions, garden centres, and neighbourhood hangouts, such as Arundel Castle, Sixes Cricket, Swains Garden Centre, University of Brighton Students' Union and more.

Our dedication to training extends beyond our own coffee houses, as we regularly host training sessions for our wholesale customers, ensuring that Trading Post Coffee is always crafted with care and to perfection.
